Hermes Limited Edition Millennium Moonlight Kelly
I have been an avid Hermes collectsor for over 7 years now and I have NEVER seen this bag before or even heard of it. It can easily be mistaken for the Hermes So Black collectsion however this Limited Edition Kelly was created a decade before the So Black collectsion!!
Produced in 2000, for the millennium, this Hermes Kelly is a 32cm Sellier with black box calfskin and ruthenium hardware. This bag comes with a shoulder strap and a “H” lock accessory. No keys or clouchette with this bag as the cadena lock doesn’t actually lock.
From our research, Jean Paul Gaultier possibly designed this bag before the So Black collectsion and after this bag sold out immediately, they went back to the drawing boards for other pieces for that upcoming 2010 collectsion that is oh so legendary.
